Hercules Magusanus

The god  Hercules Magusanus appearing on an altar near Falkirk is a combined god mixing the Graeco-Roman divine hero Hercules and the local deity or hero Magusanus.

The auxiliary troops from the lower Rhine Tungrians, Batavians and Cugerni all had altars to this god and were all in Britain
