Roman Bas Reliefs in Original Colour
A bas relief was commissioned by the Roman Senate in 13 BC in honour of the triumphs of Emperor Augustus and the above shows an interpreation of the original colours. The bas-relief can be seen in Rome at the Museo dell’Ara Pacis or online at https://www.arapacis.it/en/node/1008725
