  Context: dedicatory altar; Verus is titled praefectus (likely an auxiliary command). Find context traditionally linked to Cadder, but reassigned to Bar Hill; now in Colzium House. Dated broadly AD 142–200.

• The Britannia altar is catalogued as RIB 2187 (with EDH record HD071314 and an EDCS entry). The RIB commentary explicitly mentions the possible identification with the Egyptian centurion, but leading scholars (Clarke, Birley) consider that link doubtful—more likely a later relative or simply another man of the same name.
• The Egypt occurrences are a cluster of Memnon graffiti, giving unusually rich personal data (tribe, hometown, legion, precise dates).
