Second Cohort of Tungrians

This unit from Belgium was stationed at various forts on the Antonine Wall, including Cramond Fort near Edinburgh and Birrens Fort near Dumfries. It left an altar at Cramond Fort. Later, they were stationed on Hadrian’s Wall at Castlesteads Roman Fort.
