This fort has largely disappeared and little is known. The fort and civilian houses are reputed to have once covered quite a large area. The fort was north of the Antonine wall and on the route to the Stirling area and Gask Ridge.
Finds from the site have been limited but a Samian Ware Platter, Camelon (Vimeo link) from Lezoux in central France has been found at the site. The museum de la ceremique in Lezoux has some information.
- The Samian potter’s mark RIIOGENIM is documented in the paper “analyse d’un ensemble de Terre sigillee” ( in French)
