What this video covers
This clip from Scotland: Rome’s Final Frontier presents an animated reconstruction of Inchtuthil. Its value is visual: a reconstruction can make the scale and arrangement of a large military site easier to imagine than scattered remains alone. The appearance of buildings and other details represents an interpretation of the archaeological evidence. Use the related fort and army guides to place the fortress within Roman Scotland. The BBC player’s running time could not be verified during this update.
