Strathearn contains an exceptional concentration of Roman forts, camps, roads and watchtowers. Around Crieff and Auchterarder, the remains show armies establishing and reusing a route towards the Tay.

What can you see today?

Ardoch is the outstanding visible site, although access restrictions must be respected. The wider Gask landscape is best explored using a map and several separate stops.
